Congrats, Kit. He's beautiful indeed.

I like his name.
Good to know that you both are okay.

Congratulations on the birth of your little astronaut, and may he have many successful journeys around the sun.

Congratulations, Kit!!!

Congratulations, Kit.

What a lovely name, and what a (don't lapse into precious-speak, don't lapse into precious-speak) astonishingly gorgeous young man!

Congratulations!

Verification word (I kid you not): "geste". "Ooo's a wuvverly pwecious beau geste now? Oo is! Oo is!")

Oh, darn.

Congratulations! He is entirely and totally adorable!

Congratulations! He is just adorable. You'll be amazed at how fast he will grow up, though.

Congratulations - and just to repeat what others have said, he really is gorgeous ... and sweet and ...

Socks of Sullenness

How sweet! And I've always been a fan of Welsh names, so I heartily approve of that. I hope you're feeling well and getting rest.

Oh, he's beautiful!

Congratulations to all, and I hope you're doing well yourself.

And thanks for posting this only three days later, when I know you've got so much else to think about. But we couldn't help but wonder...I'm so glad all is well.

Took me forever and a day to figure out you probably weren't reading over at Slacktivist on account of the newborn baby, so I'll just say it here:

Well done Kit, Nathaniel and Gareth (and Mika, for whom this is no doubt a time of trial).

I congratulate the lad on looking less squished than most of his cohort- many newborns have sort of a "decomposing tomato" look going, but he's already rocking a nose. Good for you, Nathaniel- ahead of the game already.

OMG OMG OMG SQUEEEEEEEE!

It's a baby!

And it's Kit! Posting again!

Birth has happened! Life is beautiful! Congrats to Kit, congrats to Gareth, and a thousand times welcome to Nathaniel Rhys Whitfield Thomas!

(Spearmint, don't underestimate the value of posting on Slacktivist - I only knew to come here after seeing Rebecca's congrats in a recent thread.)

D'awwwww.

He looks beautiful. As he should, being woven from strands forged in the heart of the sun.

May that ancestor of his always light his steps.

Oh, and good job on doing the whole actual weaving-the-once-star-stuff, by the way. :P

He's lovely, Kit, a real sweetie. Congratulations to you and Gareth.

Well done to you, and welcome to the world, new Nathaniel Rhys.

Welcome to the world, Nathaniel Rhys!

Mazel tov!

Welcome to him, welcome back to you, and best of health to the both of you.

Congratulations Kit and Gareth! He's absolutely lovely. Get ready to be a happy family!

Congratulations, Kit!

And welcome, Nathaniel!

(What I actually said when I saw the picture was unintelligible, but it translates into something like this:)That is one of the most beautiful newborns I've ever seen. How fortunate and blessed! Congratulations again!

Congratulations!

I think I'm obliged to conclude that my niece was the single cutest baby in the world (and you're obliged to disagree), but he is a spectacularly cute baby.

Congratulations! Get him reading early, you can never be too young to start...

Congratulations! He's gorgeous! Clearly his parents have excellent genes (but we knew that already). :)

Congratulations, Kit! And welcome into the world, Nathaniel. :)

Congratulations!

Congratulations and best wishes to all of you. Nathaniel is adorable. And once you have time and energy to spare again, looking forward to welcoming you back to Slacktivist. You've been missed, Kit.

Congratulations, Kit and Nathaniel!

Awww! Congratulations. He's gorgeous!d

baby!!!!!!

Congratulations.

And just remember, quite often he'll be perfectly happy sucking your finger.

[Babies have a Need To Suck. I didn't know that at first, and it would have been really useful occasionally]

Congratulations, Kit and Gareth and Nathaniel!

My second son wanted me to say, "Hey that's my name", cool...Rhys.

Love and hugs, renniejoy

Congratulations, Kit, Gareth, and baby Nathaniel! I love the name, too. Evenstar would have been Nathaniel if she were a boy.

(someone finally posted a link on a comment thread I hadn't given up reading yet)

Many congratulations!

Congratulations! He's absolutely precious!

May your recovery go smoothly, sleep come easily and may Mika learn to share gracefully.

Belated congratulations, and much joy to all of you!

What a cutie! Congratulations!

Adorable! congratulations!

Belated congratulations to you, Mr. Kit and your new kit(ling)!

Congratulations!

Joy to you all!

What a beautiful boy. Congratulations -- and Kit & Gareth, trust me when I tell you, enjoy everything -- even every dirty diaper and spit-up, because that will all be over far sooner than you can imagine, even though right now you probably think it never will. Just wish I was in the same place again myself. Welcome to the world, Nathaniel!

Congratulations, Kit, Gareth, Nathaniel and Mika.

Congratulations! He looks adorable :)

Congratulations to all of you!

Congratulations!

Congratulations, Kit! Welcome to our little planet, Nathaniel! I hope you enjoy your stay.

What a lovely little baby he is.

Congratulations!

(for both the son and the World Fantasy nomination :-))

He's perfect. :-) And look at all that HAIR! Congratulations, Kit. :-) :-)
