My beautiful son
Nathaniel Rhys Whitfield Thomas. Born 28 August at 2.55 am, weighing 8 pounds and 1 ounce, in perfect health.

Congratulations to all, and I hope you're doing well yourself.
And thanks for posting this only three days later, when I know you've got so much else to think about. But we couldn't help but wonder...I'm so glad all is well.

I congratulate the lad on looking less squished than most of his cohort- many newborns have sort of a "decomposing tomato" look going, but he's already rocking a nose. Good for you, Nathaniel- ahead of the game already.

He looks beautiful. As he should, being woven from strands forged in the heart of the sun.
May that ancestor of his always light his steps.
Oh, and good job on doing the whole actual weaving-the-once-star-stuff, by the way. :P
I think I'm obliged to conclude that my niece was the single cutest baby in the world (and you're obliged to disagree), but he is a spectacularly cute baby.
